So the toy I wanted more than anything growing up was the Red Shadows Shadowtrack. I managed to get the laser exterminator as my big action force vehicle, then transformers from then on as my folks simply couldn’t afford any (I was grateful for what I got!) and the pickings were slim – we had the Jolly Green Giant as our only nearby toy shop – long before the Toys’r’us or Smyths days!

So I have been collecting Action Force stuff for quite a few years now – yesterday however I got this boxed shadowtrack. The box is spanish and has a few dinks and dunts, and the toys within are damaged but I love it! Fortunately I have an imaculate Shadowtrack and red vulture to replace it with!

Its in really good condition for a 40 year old toy, and looks amazing!

The back has the typical series 2 Action force back, showing the shadowtrack, laser exterminator and many other items, quite a few retooled from the GI Joe line. (Cobra Commander was the same model as Red Laser, for instance) and many retooled from the series 1 line. The AF3 gave the body for the Cosmic Cruiser and the Shadowtrack.
